H4 Youth Foundation is a non-profit organisation specifically created for the purpose of assisting disadvantaged youth and improving their life-skills through boating.

The H4 Youth Foundation maintains programs designed to promote team building, develop self-confidence, engender a sense of responsibility, and bring positive life skills and community values to participants who might otherwise have little access to such opportunities.

The foundation offers the sailing experience to forty teams of two young people (girls and/or boys), nominated by local schools, churches and community youth groups and agencies. With the active participation of major corporate sponsors, H4 provides a fleet of 'Optimist' sailing boats. This class of boat is sailed by over 150,000 young people who compete in more than 100 countries and is the biggest and fastest-growing dinghy class in the world.
